What technology is needed?

Let’s take a look:

Since we’re almost all knowledge workers now, the purpose of these new technologies must be to make knowledge workers more productive.

Knowledge Workers use their knowledge to educate, inform, entertain or get things done.

The world desperately needs new technology that will make the average knowledge worker many times more productive.

And it needs it NOW.

The Solution

To understand what technologies are needed, let’s break down the problem into smaller chunks.

As a reminder, the Knowledge Economy consists of Knowledge Workers and Knowledge Consumers.

Clearly, the solutions must focus on creating more efficiency in the distribution of:

1) Knowledge from Workers to Consumers, and

2) Compensation going back from Consumers to Workers

The FanBox community (members and employees) has been working on this problem for years now.

The community’s challenge

The engineers are working on many more tools to make life easier for knowledge workers and to help them earn with less effort….

However, what good are these tools if most people that are suffering or unemployed have never heard about them or know how to use them?

Remember, as a community, we have been rushing to launch and use these tools because we are in a race against time.

The downward spiral has begun – and we want to aid the economic crisis and help people by providing them tools to get productive quickly:

The questions are:

1) How fast can we educate people to use these solutions to share their knowledge and begin to earn?

2) What else can we do?

Obviously sitting around and worrying does no good.

And going out and protesting to Wall Street or the rich or the government is also a waste of time.

Instead of protesting, the best use of our collective intelligence is to figure out how to get more people to use the tools we’ve created.

The more people that use these tools…

… the more people start earning…

… the more people that get hopeful for the future…

… the less the despair and hopelessness.

… the more people that use these tools…

… and so on and so forth.

We need to create an UPWARD spiral to compete with the downward spiral.
We need to get more new people using these tools than the number of people that are unemployed.

We can not see the things which is happening backstage. Some people are making mountain of wealth but other are dieing for hunger.
